I’m Denis Markwell and I work as an End User Computer Architect in Brisbane, Australia.
I decided after many years it was time to build a website for the domain I have used as my primary email address for 20+ years!
On this site you will find detailed beginner guides along with tips, tricks and scripts.
The key areas of focus for this blog are:
- Endpoint Central – My current engagement is using ManageEngine Endpoint Central. As I have discovered, it’s a power platform and well suited to SME businesses. There is limited community content, and I plan to change that.
- macOS management with Endpoint Central or Microsoft Intune – Many users are already licensed for Intune via E3 or may have the lower cost ManageEngine platform so taking advantage of what you already own makes sense.
- Windows Lab Builds – You can download ready to go labs from Microsoft, but thats no fun! Detailed walkthrough of building a new on prem domain with config manager & remote app plus Intune and Entra hybrid and full cloud device management. This is where a lot of large enterprises are, and I firmly believe it’s best to test and learn in a lab rather than your companie’s production network.
- I also have a saltwater reef tank with SPS corals and it’s been quite the struggle so I would love to do a blog about the setup of my next tank as another guide to help new reefers like me obtain success faster.
